
The truth of the matter is that there is no real public explanation as to why Sandler is not involved with Transformania. Considering that the previous installments have earned over $1 billion and are the three highest-grossing movies Sandler has been involved with by far, his total absence from the fourth one feels especially strange. Sandler not only acted in but served as an executive producer on the first three Hotel Transylvania films. While discussing Transformania's first trailer, directors Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon said that they saw the plot point of Drac turning into a human as the perfect excuse to bring in a new voice actor. The actual reason as to Sandler's departure in the first place is unmentioned, but the directors stated that they tried to make this version of Drac feel very different from his. However, when Hotel Transylvania: Transformaniareleases, it will be without Sandler's voice talents.

They set out on a journey to undo their transformations before they become permanent and get a taste of what life is like for humans. In the fourth film, Drac and his fellow monsters accidentally transform into humans. The film serves as the fourth and final installment of the Hotel Transylvaniaseries, which follows the legendary Count Dracula as he runs a hotel for monsters.

After three delays, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania will be released on October 1.
